Tmall International Goes Online to “Incorporate” Overseas Shopping

Yesterday, Tmall international quietly went online using the domain name www.tmall.hk. Although there have none companies joined so far, the website’s rules and international security terms have already been fixed. It is believed that the intention of the Tmall international is very clear, but the future of the business will inevitably conflict with the Taobao “global shopping”.
According to the introduction on the first page, that all the goods sold on Tmall international are 100% from abroad, and they are genuinely produced or sold overseas. In addition, all the sellers on Tmall international will be 100% from overseas businesses. According to some Alibaba staff that foreign companies can’t directly register Tmall international. It is required that these sellers need to register another company in China or join in the form of Chinese agency.
However, to ensure Chinese consumers after-sales service, these overseas sellers need to guarantee that all goods should have formal return channels in China mainland so buyers can return faulty products there.
