We would almost forget that under all those services Google offers, Google is still a search engine. Google’s latest feature in its core search engine is displaying Nutrition Information in searches. According to Google, we’ll soon be able to search for info such as: “How much sugar is in a grape?” and even more complex searches like “How many calories are in a Pizza?” Serving up information to help you adjust your diet and serving sizes, we’ll soon all be able to live healthier by just conducting a quick Google search.
The information will be pulled from Google’s Knowledge Graph, which helps you to find hard-to-access info in one convenient place. Everyone in the US should be able to use the Nutrition Search function somewhere within the coming 10 days and the rest of the world will have to wait a bit longer.
