Huawei Got a Big Order from Denmark for the 4G Network

TDC18, Denmark’s largest telecommunications company announced today that the company signed a 4 billion Danish kroner (about $ 720 million)order with the Chinese company Huawei . It means that in the next six years from 2014 to 2020, Huawei will be responsible for the operation of the network TDC, and providing the Denmark’s 4G mobile network equipment.
TDC CEO Carsten Dilling told the media: “In the field of mobile network technology, Huawei is one of the world’s most innovative companies.”
Dilling said: “Every time when the Danish telecom TDC gets in the infrastructure projects, it will work closely with the relevant departments of the national security, and this is no exception this time. We discussed with the relevant security authorities and I believe that we will find a safe state solution for our customers and for the nation. ”
TDC founded in 1881, currently is the only Danish licensed 4G telecommunications company, and is also Denmark’s largest telecommunications enterprise. It is formerly known as the Danish state-owned monopoly telecommunications company, and in 1998 it had been privatized.
